Haul/Review: E.L.F. Essential & Studio Line.

I have another e.l.f. review and this time I'll be featuring items from the Essential and Studio lines. I was happy that I got another opportunity to receive some e.l.f. items because there were a few items I've been curious about it. If you want to see my thoughts on each item then be sure to watch the video!

e.l.f. Studio Brush Shampoo: An anti-bacterial brush cleanser for thorough cleaning in-between makeup applications. Disinfects brushes to provide a fresh and clean application every time. Washes away traces of dirt, makeup, oil and debris from your brush while conditioning the hair to provide a clean and soft application for every use.

Retail Price: $3.00

Overall Thoughts: I don't think I would repurchase this. The shampoo doesn't lather up hardly at all. My makeup brushes still had makeup left behind after using it.

e.l.f. Studio Cream Blush - Heartbreaker: This amazing blush offers the best of both worlds! It smoothes on as a cream for great texture and then transforms into a velvety soft powder finish for long-lasting rich color that’s never greasy! The lightweight, refreshing oil-free formula looks natural and radiates a beautiful glow perfect for all skin types. The soft powder finish can be layered for desired intensity and dimension.

Retail Price: $6.00

Overall Thoughts: Heartbreaker is a pinky coral. The Studio Cream Blush is actually more of a mousse texture. It's very airy and creamy. The blush itself is highly pigmented and blends in easily. The only con is that it can be messy if you apply it with your fingers.

e.l.f. Studio Blush - Blushing Rose: The soft sheer texture blends into the skin for a silky finish. Designed to be worn alone or layered for more depth. Highlight your complexion with a subtle healthy glow!

Retail Price: $3.00

Overall Thoughts: Blushing Rose is a rosy red with gold shimmer. The gold shimmer gives off a nice glow to your cheeks. It's very pigmented and blends in easily. You're going to want to apply this with a light hand.

e.l.f. Studio Cream Eyeliner - Black: Creates smooth lines that are defined and precise. Smudge-proof, budge-proof and water-resistant coverage for all day wear to combat against, sweat, tears and rain! Slanted Eyeliner Brush included!

Retail Price: $3.00

Overall Thoughts: The Studio Cream Eyeliner in Black is a great jet black. It's extremely pigmented and opaque. It applies easily and smoothly. Best of all this eyeliner does not budge. You may need to use a makeup remover to remove it.

e.l.f. Essential Eyelid Primer - Nude and Golden: Preps your eyelid for smoother, longer-lasting and crease-proof eyeshadow. The ultra sheer nude color works to increase eye color longevity. The lightweight liquid formula quickly absorbs into the skin for comfortable wear.

Retail Price: $1.00

Overall Thoughts: Essential Eyelid Primer in Nude is a sheer, nude base. Essential Eyelid Primer in Golden is a shimmer, golden base. They feature a doe fit applicator. These eyelid primers definitely work! I usually have my makeup on for 6-8+ hours and I noticed no visible creasing at all.

e.l.f. Essential Eye Crease Brush: Blends and contours in the crease and corners of the eye. This domed bristle brush picks up a lot of eye color and sweeps it onto the eyelid to create bold definition. Great for smudging shadow into the lash line for a smoky effect. All e.l.f. professional makeup brushes have been designed and tested by our professional team of makeup artists. Each brush has been ergonomically designed to fit perfectly into your hand and facilitate a flawless finish with every application.

Retail Price: $1.00

Overall Thoughts: The Essential Crease Brush is a slighty pointed tipped, rounded brush. It's perfect for defining the outer-v, applying eyeshadow in the tear duct area, and even for smudging along the lower lash line. The only con I had is that I noticed some shedding when cleaning it.

e.l.f. Essential Lipstick - Fantasy: Indulge your lips with long lasting color and shine. The moisture rich formula hydrates, conditions and softens on contact for silky smooth lips. Instantly beautiful, healthy-looking lips designed, formulated and tested by our professional team of makeup artists.

Retail Price: $1.00

Overall Thoughts: The Essential Lipstick in Fantasy is a brownish nude. The perfect lipstick to create a nude or neutral lip for darker skin. The formula is really creamy. The lipstick is highly pigmented and gives full coverage. I read a lot of complaints about the Essential Lipsticks breaking and mine is still intact.

I purchased the brush cleanser a while back (not the shampoo, but the other cleanser) and I notice it didn't clean my brushes at all either. And the scent was very sickly strong.

I really want to try the blushes though! I really like the colour you picked up.

Thanks for the swatches :)
