Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush.

This is my review on the Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush. A lot of people were saying it's a dupe for the Stila Make Me Blush Palette. I completely disagree with that and find that the only thing that's similar is that it's a blush with hearts. I purchased mine in Walmart and I picked out the shade in Rose.

Description: Ultra-soft and blendable blushing powder features a fresh and vibrant mix of blushing tones infused with a pop of color to create a healthy glow. Multi-reflective pearls provide a soft iridescence to highlight contour and add radiance to cheeks.

Infused with our Happy Boost Blend, featuring Happy Skin and Euphoryl, natural plant extracts which have been shown to promote a feeling of happiness by mimicking the effect of Endorphins and helping protect the skin from environmental stress. The sweet scent of Violet provides a feeling of joy each time you apply.

Price: $10.63

Purchased From: Walmart

  • Packaging
  • Includes a mirror
  • It's permanent
  • Great Pigmentation
  • Gives a natural color and glow

  • CONS:
  • The scent can be annoying
  • Pricey for a drugstore blush

  • Packaging: It's a pink, metallic plastic container. The packaging is very similar to the Milani Baked Blushes. Just like the Milani Baked Blush it includes a mirror and a brush when you open it. It's definitely not as "flip-floppy" though, so that's a plus for me. There are 7grams worth of product.

Color/Pigmentation: There are two shades available which are Natural and Rose. I chose Rose because it appeared to have more pigmentation out of the two available. The blush features different hues of pinks on the hearts. The texture is really smooth. These blushes do contain shimmer or glitter, but I find that it gives off a really lovely sheen. Rose is a really natural pink. You definitely want to get Rose if you have a medium to dark skin tone.

Scent: Physicians Formula said the scent is violet, but it smells a lot like roses to me. I'm not that keen on the smell. Mostly because I have allergies though. I don't smell it or notice the scent when it's applied to my face though. If you're sensitive to fragrance then you may want to stay clear.

Overall I do like this blush a lot. I don't own that many true pink blushes. The only major downside is that it's a bit pricey. I've seen it as high as $14-$15. So depending on where you go the price does vary. Walmart has the cheapest price. Another thing I want to add is that I don't find that it to be much of a mood booster. However it's really adorable!

Oh I had to get this blush because it had gorgeous packaging. The hearts are sooo cute. Plus I like the scent it has. I got mine at cvs when they had $7 off PF plus I found it with $4 off coupon on display. Overall I really like it .
