First Impressions & Demo: Maybelline BB Cream.

I was on the hunt for a new and affordable tinted moisturizer. I recently picked up the new Maybelline Dream Fresh BB 8-in-1 Beauty Balm Skin Perfector SPF 30! I ordered it from Drugstore.com since I haven't been able to find it locally.

The Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream is available in five shades: Light 100, Light/Medium 110, Medium 120, Medium/Deep 130, and Deep 140. I have the shade in Medium/Deep.

Description: The 1-step wonder for a good skin day, everyday. Packed with 8 great skin benefits for instant skin perfection. Ideal for Normal Skin.

The Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream is a squeeze tube.

Here is a comparison of the Maybelline Fit Me foundation vs. Dream Fresh BB Cream.

Be sure to watch the video for how I apply the BB Cream and the results!

PROS:
• Oil-Free
• Lightweight
• Contains SPF 30
• Gives a dewy finish
• Looks completely natural
• A great tinted moisturizer
• Maybelline's 8 in 1 claims are definitely true

CONS:
• In a squeeze tube, which can be messy
• Doesn't feel like there is much product in container

I'm completely in love with the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream already! As soon as my package arrived I tested it out and I loved the results immediately. I'm also very happy that Maybelline made color selections for those of us with a darker skin tone.

It gives a natural, dewy finish. The coverage is light and sheer. I have minor skin concerns, so I don't really need a full coverage product. If you're someone who prefers medium to full coverage then you probably won't like this product. Those that have oily skin you might not like that this gives a dewy finish. Setting it with a powder product might help though.

I don't dislike much about this product except for two things. It's in a squeeze tube. Those can be messy or you could squirt too much product out. It contains 30 ml 1.0 fl. oz worth of product, but it seems like a lot less than that. It could be the packaging that's making it feel that way though.

Here's a swatch of the Maybelline BB Cream in Medium/Deep.

This is a photo of me wearing the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream.

Have you tried the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream? Thoughts?

  2. Hey Chica, I agree, I just got mine in 2 days ago from Drugstore.com, I got in light/medium the shade works but I think Medium will be more perfect. I love the product as well, iahev a oily Tzone and surprisly I dont have to blot and my oil production is way less when using.

  8. I ordered it a couple of days ago. When I first saw your post at 11pm, I have to admit I rushed to walgreens and then CVS and was disappointed that it was not there.

I cannot wait until it gets here, your skin looks so pretty.

  10. The coverage seems good, but think the shade might be off. Did you try swatching the deep shade?

  11. @ Kelly - I actually didn't swatch any shades since I purchased this online. Plus my skin tone isn't deep, so I probably wouldn't had swatched it anyways.

  12. Oh my, you are GORGEOUS!

I've been using Tarte TM (since February and still have half tube full left) and happy with it.
But since my skin has been improving (although nowhere as good as yours) and my skincare routine is pretty potent right now, I feel I don't have to splurge for sheer coverage anymore.
Your review just made me even sure to purchase this when I run out of my Tarte.

I haven't looked around, but if you haven't, please post your skincare routine!

  16. hey.

i hope you know the answer to my question.

i normally use MAC NW43. in my country, we don't have the deeper shades of this BB cream. so, i was wondering, do you know whether medium/deep or deep would match me?

    thanks heaps.
