Review: Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit.

Last month I received some items from the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit line. This was my first time using Neutrogena cleansers and body washes. I tend to stick to the facial cleansers and other products that I know work for me and I rarely pick up something new. After trying this line out I now have new skin care products that I love and that fit perfectly in my routine!

From left to right: Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit, Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub, Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Cream Cleanser, and Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash Pink Grapefruit.

Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit: The #1 dermatologist recommended acne-fighting cleanser-Neutrogena® Oil-Free Acne Wash now comes with an uplifting blast of pink grapefruit! Eliminate oil and dirt without over-drying or irritating skin. Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash Pink Grapefruit: Neutrogena® Body Clear® Body Wash Pink Grapefruit is a refreshing, clean-rinsing body wash that treats and helps prevent body breakouts with an uplifting blast of pink grapefruit. This unique formula features the maximum strength dermatologist recommended acne medicine Salicylic Acid boosted by oil-blasting MicroClear technology. It's specially developed to treat body breakouts such as those on your back, shoulders and chest without over-drying. The bubbly lathering formula contains 100% naturally derived grapefruit extract plus vitamin C and treats skin without sacrificing your shower experience.

Overall Thoughts: Before I get into what I like and what I don't like I want to share a little information about my skin and my skin type. My skin type is normal/combination. My t-zone tends to be oily, but more so my nose. I don't have any huge concerns skin-wise. I do get pimples every now and then and it's normally along my t-zone and my cheeks. After having a pimple I'm concerned with it possibly leaving a scar. Those are my main concerns.

Price: The price range of the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit line is affordable. All items retail for around $7.99 each, but also depending on the retailer the price may be lower or higher. For example, at Walmart the products retail for $6.97. This line is very budget friendly!

Pros: I am in love with this line! I've been using the products for almost 2 months. The pink grapefruit scent is really refreshing and pleasant without being overpowering. It cleans the face really well and that includes removing my makeup too. Each product contains salicylic acid, which helps treat acne and blemishes. Salicylic acid is also said to improve the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and scarring. Right away I saw results after using the products. At least for me I saw improvement the following day after my first use. Everyone has been telling me how great my skin looks lately. I've been asked a lot about what I've been using. I haven't worn foundation lately either because the line has really improved my skin. It definitely helps to use it regularly and everyday though.

I also love that the products contain vitamin C and that is something I really like my facial cleansers to have. If you didn't know already vitamin C is a natural skin brightening. It really helps to give my skin a big boost from looking dull to looking bright and healthy. It's something I noticed immediately after cleaning my face with a cleanser that contains vitamin C. It also helps to even your skin tone, especially great for me because after breakouts I sometimes would get scars.

Cons: Though it's not suppose to be over-drying I have experience mild drying. It's nothing severe like what my skin was like in the Winter. My skin gets pretty dry during Winter and it was extremely dry and flaky earlier this year. A good moisturizer definitely comes in handy to heal any dry skin you may have.

Whether you're in the market for a new cleanser or you may suffer from body acne the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit is worth trying out! I'm super pleased with the results and I'm going to repurchase everything once it runs out. I think it's great that it doesn't take weeks to see changes within your skin.

This couldn't have come at a better time. I'm almost out of my current face stuff and was actually considering trying this out. I saw it at our local NEX (military drugstore/shopping store) and it stood out because it was pink, but I wasn't sure. Now I know to try it. Oil-free is my best friend. :)

Great review! I`d try this out, but I`m not a fan of how grapefruit smells.

I use the foaming scrub, and even though I don't find it to be "foaming" AT ALL, it's still my very favorite face wash. I've yet to try out any of the other items in line but the scrub is def one of my HG products.

I have not used Neutrogena products. The Sonic wave looks like a great daily cleansing tool.

Thank you so much for this review! Although I use many different shower gels (Carol's Daughter, Korres, Dove, Victoria's Secret), I always like to have that one go to when i don't want to be heavily scented or I want to wear perfume. That go to for me USED to be Dove. The shower gel from this line is incredible! I feel and see a noticeable difference in my skin since using this. Your review was very informative and it really persuaded me to try it for myself. Keep up the great work! This is one of many products I've tried because of your reviews.
