Depotted & Finished My First MAC Palette.

I DEPOTTED MY MAC EYESHADOWS AND FINISHED A PALETTE!
I was terrified to depot because it just looked hard.

After watching videos with knives, ovens, lighters... NO WAY!
I'm a clumsy fool and I figured I shouldn't even attempt to do it.

I LITERALLY ONLY USED A FLAT IRON AND A NAIL FILE!
Depotting is not as complicated as people make it out to be at all.

MY FINISHED MAC PALETTE.
I've listed the name of the eyeshadows from to left to right.

1st Row: Espresso - Woodwinked - Mythology - Tempting - Beauty Marked
2nd Row: Chrome Yellow - Newly Minted - Humid - Eyepopping - Wondergrass
3rd Row: Fig 1 - Deep Truth - Electric Eel - Parfait Amour - Moon's Reflection

1st Row = Everyday colors and neutrals.
2nd Row = Yellow and Greens.
3rd Row = Purple and Blues.

HAVE YOU EVER DEPOTTED EYESHADOWS BEFORE?

I UPDATED MY BLOG SALE RECENTLY, SO PLEASE BROWSE!
There's some Urban Decay, Too Faced, NYX, and some other goodies.

  16. congrats! :D I got some to depot.. I just need to buy a mac palette first lol! I have a love/hate relationship with mac shadows... I love the color range but I hate how they're so pressed, similar to mufe's shadow textures :( ahh, I guess I'll give in maybe in half a year and just go completely mac shadow-ed out ahah! :)

  18. Way to go Rai! You did a good job and nice collection so far :)
Nope, I haven't even tried to depot any of my shadows. Don't fix it until it's broken because in my case, it WILL break if I try LOL.

  20. Thank you! :)

Sharlene - It doesn't take long at all. My flat iron heats up super fast & all I have to do is pop it out. lol

  21. ndoodles - Since I don't have a MAC here I'll have to wait until I travel out of town and trade them in. I rather go inside a store because you can trade them in for a lipglass, eyeshadow, or lipstick!

  22. Congrats! You have really great colors there! I was scared for the longest time to depot but after I tried it the first time and seen it was easy I don't mind it. I use the flat iron method too.
