Review: Nailene French Tip Pen Kit.

Today I'll be reviewing the Nailene French Tip Pen Kit.
I was sent this kit courtesy of Nailene. This review is my honest opinion.

This kit can be used on both your nails and toes.

NAILENE SAYS: In just 2 simple steps, achieve that perfect salon French Manicure with our easy-to-use pen. Also great for pedicures and perfect for retouching! Mistake proof, precision application with fabulous results.

French Manicure Pen Preparation: Actively shake pen. Press tip onto a protected surface for 30 seconds until tip is saturated with polish. When the tip is completely covered with polish, you are ready to use the pen.

Directions For Application:
Apply tip guides across curve of nails to separate tip area. (optional)

STEP 1: After prepping pen, apply 2 coats of Nailene's French Tip White to nail tips. Let dry. If tip guides were used, peel off gently.

STEP 2: Apply 1 or 2 coats of Nailene's Hard & Healthy base color polish over entire nail.

** A top coat may be applied for added shine.

HERE'S WHAT'S INSIDE THE KIT.
1 White Pen
1 Base Color
1 Top Coat
42 Tip Guides

HERE ARE MY RESULTS.
This is a GREAT kit for those who are trying to save money!
Instead of paying $20+ professionally done nails, you can do it yourself.
My only issue is that the tip guides weren't that sticky, so on some nails the polish leaked.
Other than that minor issue I have no other complaints. Great product!

OVERALL RATING: 4/5
PRICE: $9.00 (taken from Walmart.com)
PURCHASE FROM: Rite Aid, K-Mart, Wal-Mart, CVS, Family Dollar
Ulta, Shoppers Drug Mart, Asda, and Boots.

  1. Yeah, when I used my ELF french tip kit - the stickers weren't sticky at all and it was so messy! But I think you've got the hang of it though. Very pretty.

  5. Great review! I used to use kits like this all the time, then I started using a brush instead to clean up the lines. Your nails look great with french tip! :)

  6. Hey sweetie--I just saw your comment on my blog about the CVS sale and YES, you CAN take back opened products and return/exchange them at CVS. I've done it many times when something didn't work for me and as long as you have your receipt, it's totally fine. Hope that helps! :)
